All National Player Combine acceptance notifications have been sent!

All athletes who applied should have received an email late Monday afternoon.  If you did not, please check your junk/spam folder.  If it is not in there, please email us at [email protected].  Please make sure to add the [email protected] email address to your address book or safe/saved contacts so you receive emails from us in the future.

Once athletes are registered and fully paid, you will receive a confirmation email from us and will be added to the “Registered Athlete List.”  This list can be found at the bottom of the National Player Combine page.

All NPC spots are full at this time. If any additional spots become available, they will be offered to athletes off the waitlist on a first-come, first-served basis.

ACCEPTANCE POLICY & UPDATES:

We will be accepting any and all athletes who applied by the deadline of February 12th.  If any additional spots become available, they will be offered to athletes off the waitlist on a first-come, first-served basis.  This adjusted acceptance policy allows us to employ top college coaches from around the country to work with you (pending the dead period being lifted).  We are extremely happy with the numbers and quality of applications received and the benefit of learning from and working with top college coaches is invaluable.  We hope to have final approval to be able to share with you our Field Hockey Director and Goalkeeping Director in the next couple of days!

The session selection for athletes was made with the following considerations: 1) Players who could only attend 1 session were assigned to that session, 2) Siblings were assigned to the same session, 3) Goalkeepers were split evenly between sessions, and 4) Diversity of athletes by state, position and ability so athletes will play with and against a diverse group of athletes in their class.  When possible, we also tried to keep athletes from the same high school or club together for travel convenience.

We expanded our numbers and curriculum slightly to accommodate the interest we received.  We will be incorporating Field #1 of The Proving Grounds for potential goalkeeper sessions, warm-ups, and 7v7 play.  The turf fiber height on Field #1 is ¼ inch shorter than standard fields and was specifically chosen to provide superior play for field hockey.  The majority of play will remain on the Villanova University FIH Global Certified water-based turf.
