MAX Field Hockey
Player Rankings Round #2 Details

Round #2 of MAX Field Hockey’s Player Rankings (2017s, 2018s, 2019s, 2020s) are scheduled to come out at the end of the summer!  The exact timing is TBD and depends on our ability to get the necessary information and feedback we need to make ranking decisions.

We have revamped our Player Profile Central, which we are now referring to as our Player Database.  Player Rankings and the Player Database can now be accessed easily via the main top menu on MAXFieldHockey.com under Player Rankings.

Players do not have to create a profile to be considered for our Player Rankings, but it is helpful for many reasons and we do encourage players to create and maintain one if they would like to be considered.

If you already created a Player Profile:

Please login and update it asap.  If you forgot your login- your username is an email address and you may click on the “forgot your password” link to reset it.  If you forget which email address you used and cannot figure it out, email admin@maxfh.longstreth.com and we will look it up for you using the player’s name.  We have changed some of the fields and simplified the recognitions/accomplishments section to be a yearly entry, so anyone who has a profile will need to update those.  Also, make sure to update any college commitment news!

If you created more than one player profile or would like to remove your profile for any reason, please email admin@maxfh.longstreth.com and let us know which account(s) to delete.

If you have not yet created a Player Profile:

You can easily create one using the “Create a Player Profile” at the top of the Player Database page!  It is free and easy!

Now Accepting Feedback and Recommendations

We are now accepting feedback and recommendations from Club and High School Coaches.  This is completely voluntary and players do not have to receive a recommendation, but we do take the information we receive into consideration.  We find this is more helpful for players who may be a bit under the radar than for players we already cover.

To submit feedback/recommendations- email admin@maxfh.longstreth.com and include the players name, grad year, state, high school, club, college commitment (if one) and your relationship/experience working with the player.  We appreciate field hockey specific feedback on the player and please try to be specific in comparison to other players, club members, conferences, the state you are in, schools recruiting the player, etc.  We are looking for the TOP players across the country and need specific and relevant information to consider that player to be among the top players in her state, region and country for her age group.

The following is a generalization of the type of athlete you might find ranked in each category (these are not requirements):

Top 10
*Top recruits in the country- committed to Top 10/20 college programs
*Members of a Junior National Team
*High School Americans, All-Region, All-state players
*Will make an immediate impact at the top college level

Top 50
*Highly recruited/top recruits in the country- committed to or close to committing to ~Top 20 college programs
*Junior National team members, Junior National Camp participants, Stars & Stripe selections or just missed the cut
*High School All-American, All-Region, All-State, All-Conference
*Will make impact at the top college level- some immediately

Next 50
*Many of the same achievements as Top 50 but newer to the scene or to our radar, just missed the Top 50 cut, or still developing
*Solid Division I potential

Watch List
*New to our radar or just missed the cut, but a player we see as having potential to move up our list in the future
