The weekend of February 2nd and 3rd Spooky Nook Sports held two brand new indoor tournaments: one on Saturday and one on Sunday.  145 teams and roughly 1,150 players (U12, U14, U16 and U19) flooded the official training ground of the USA Women’s Field Hockey Team and the nation’s premier indoor facility- the same surface the National Indoor Tournament will be played on beginning this upcoming weekend.

“It was great to see all of the teams there and the college coaches who came to watch.
I thought there was great field hockey here and the place was alive.”
– Spooky Nook Field Hockey Director, Matt Soto

Teams competed in 25-minute pool play games and roughly 30 college coaches attended the event (SEE THE LIST HERE).  There was live music and entertainment throughout the weekend and a free shooting clinic on Sunday.  A great all-around playing atmosphere and new event!

Spooky Nook Sports will be hosting the same tournament again next winter.  You can keep up-to-date with all upcoming events and tournaments they will be hosting here: https://www.spookynooksports.com/sports-programs/sports/field-hockey
