Senior Women’s National Team Head Coach Craig Parnham recently announced the 16-player squad (plus 2 alternates) that will represent Team USA in the upcoming Rio Summer Olympics.  The experienced roster fields 9 players with previous Olympic experience, including 3 players (Lauren Crandall, Rachel Dawson and Katelyn Falgowski) who played in both the 2008 and 2012 Olympics.

All 18 players were standout collegiate players at some of the nation’s top college Division I programs.  16 players were 1st team All-Americans and 2 were 2nd Team All-American selections during their playing careers.  Rachel Dawson, Katie Reinprecht, and Katie “O’Donnell” Bam were winners of the prestigious Honda Award, recognizing the top field hockey player in the nation each year.  Several players also received other top recognitions, including NFHCA National and Regional Player of the Year and Conference Player of the Year awards.
