The University of Maryland Field Hockey program will add former Duke University standout Stefanie Fee to its coaching staff following the Summer Olympic Games in Rio where she will be competing for Team USA.

Fee was a four-year starter for the Blue Devils from 2008-2011 and an NFHCA Second Team All-American selection.  She has been representing Team USA on the Senior National Team since 2012.  Fee is one of the top defenders in the U.S. and will oversee the Terrapin’s defense.

Maryland finished the 2015 season with a final record of 19-4 and with a Big Ten Tournament Championship.  The Terps were ranked #10 in the final NCAA RPI Ratings, #5 in the final NFHCA Coaches Poll, and were knocked out in the first round of the NCAA Tournament by Princeton.
