Why did you choose this school?: I chose Merrimack College for the opportunity to be an impact player on a newer D1 team with an amazing new head coach. I was extremely impressed when I first spoke to head Coach Hannah Richard and head assistant Coach Alexis Miedico. I like their philosophy and their style of play. Coach Richards went above and beyond to introduce me to the school and program. My decision was confirmed when I met the team, toured the campus, attended a clinic and even attended an ice hockey game. Merrimack has a great sports culture balanced wtih academics. The close proximity to Boston, yet the suburban feel of campus factored into my decision. Ultimately, Merrimack College had everything I wanted in a school.

Who would you like to thank?: The list of those who have gotten to me to where I am today is endless. I’d like to begin with my parents. My parents were my biggest supporters throughout this process. Thank you for the countless hours driving me everywhere, and for always showing up and supporting me. I’d like to thank Coach Hannah Richard and Coach Alexis Miedico for giving me the opportunity to fulfill my dream of playing division one field hockey. Also, I’d like to thank my coaches from Powerhouse, WC Eagles and high school coaches. Last but not least, I’d like to thank my teammates, old and new, for pushing me to be the best athlete I could be.
