What will you major in/study?:  Economics
Why did you choose this school?: I chose Maryland for the incredible field hockey program and the amazing educational opportunities. The field hockey program gives me the opportunity to be surrounded by excellence and to grow into a more dynamic and well-rounded player, and the coaches are all phenomenal. Maryland’s academics give me flexibility and a chance to learn at a high-level with like-minded peers. Maryland is going to challenge me as a player, student, and as a person, which was exactly what I was seeking.
Other Colleges considered: Johns Hopkins University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Bryn Mawr College, Tufts University, Boston University
Who would you like to thank?: I would like to thank my coaches and teammates at Freedom HKY, especially Sarah Dawson and Kasey Tapman.  I also want to thank my Walter Johnson teammates and coaches, especially Karen Mata.  I also want to thank my church, my friends, and especially my incredible family for all their support, love, and advice.  Thank you all for believing in me and pushing me.  Lastly, all glory to God, He has blessed me beyond measure.
