What will you major in/study?: Elementary Education
Why did you choose this school?: I fell in love with the campus and team atmosphere. The coach was very welcoming and made Shenandoah feel like home. Everyone at Shenandoah has had nothing but good things to say about it and I am very happy with my decision. I’ve met several of the other recruits and we are extremely excited to start the next chapter of our life.
Other Colleges considered: I started looking at Bigger (D1) schools (Temple, Towson, Villanova, JMU) but the pandemic and an injury took a toll on my recruiting process and discouraged me (at first). I then knew I would be lost without field hockey and went to a summer showcase to resume my process where I received several emails from smaller schools (Shenandoah, York, Roanoke, McDaniel, John Hopkins, Etc). I visited a couple, but ultimately felt at home and peace when on campus of Shenandoah.
Who would you like to thank?: I would like to thank my family, friends, teammates, and coaches for supporting me throughout my entire journey and pushing me to be the best me everyday. Without them I would not be the person I am today. They are the foundation of my life and I have surrounded myself with the best people to continue to push me and encourage me always.
