2018 Final Ranking: Mid-Atlantic Region #19
2018 Accomplishments: IAAM A Semifinalists
2018 Notables: Lost in IAAM A Semifinal in OT to Mid-Atlantic #9 Garrison Forest, Defeated Mid-Atlantic #20 Archbishop Spalding and Maryland 2A State Finalist Hereford
2019 Outlook: While the nation’s leading girls lacrosse team at McDonogh may take center stage, they also have a very strong field hockey program.  The Eagles have been in the IAAM A Championship three times over the past 5 seasons, claiming 2 championships.  Last year they just missed making the final in overtime against a tough Garrison Forest team.  They are consistently in the mix of the top teams in the state and region and 2019 should be no different.  The Eagles will be without Second Team All-State midfielder Emma Schettig (Maryland lacrosse commit), Third Team All-State forward Katelyn Whittle (Ohio U commit) and Macky Wolf (Johnson & Wales commit), but return a lot of talent behind them.  Captain and rising senior Jillian Ansell (IAAM All-Conference, Second Team All-State) returns as a leader of a squad that includes 6 returners who are committed to play Division I lacrosse.
