Week #3 Regional & National High School Rankings

For the first time in the history of MAX Field Hockey, we have match-ups of top teams across all 6 regions and 12 different states to base our rankings on! The 2019 MAX Field Hockey High School National Invitational at The Proving Grounds this past weekend was a really special event. We saw the top teams in the nation prove just how good they are. We had some surprises, some overtime games that came down to the wire, and a whole lot of high level High School field hockey. VIEW COMPLETE RESULTS HERE

While having all of these actual on field results should have helped (and in most cases it did), it also made some ranking decisions quite difficult. After a great deal of analyzation.. we have made our decisions and here are our Week #3 Regional Top 20 & National Top 25 Rankings!

Note: Week #3 Rankings include results through Monday, September 23rd (we may have peeked at some September 24th ones if they were available)

A note on our rankings: Weekly we track over 150 team’s schedules and results, which is a daunting task given the inconsistent availability of up-to-date High School field hockey information online across the country. While we try our best to look out for new teams on the rise or to add, logistically we heavily rely on how our previously ranked teams are doing, and we look for any teams who beat, tie or challenge one of them. If you think we are missing a team, please let us know!
