The Mid-Atlantic Region Top 20 is relatively unchanged this week. The top 6 remain intact, with #1 Norfolk Academy furthering their case for the #1 spot following a convincing 4-1 win over #5 ranked Trinity Episcopal School in a greatly anticipated match-up. The lone newcomer to this week’s Top 20 is #20 Archbishop Spalding (certainly no stranger to the top 20) after beating then #17 ranked Broadneck 3-2 on the road.
We have some interesting match-ups ahead this week in and out of the region. One in particular we are interested in includes Assumption High School (KY) who travels to play Virginia Beach powerhouses #1 Norfolk Academy, #4 First Colonial, and #7 Frank W. Cox. The Rockets are currently ranked #2 in the West/Mid-West Region and that should give us some good insight on our National Top 25 Rankings.
