Norfolk sits at a perfect 8-0 and Westfield at 11-0. One of the big impressers this week is St. Catherine’s School (Richmond, VA) who defeated then ranked #3 Trinity Episcopal School 2-0. They bump up from #6 to #3 with their lone loss of the season being a 1-goal game at #1 Norfolk Academy.
A top team has emerged in several states/conferences in this region. #6 Delmar High School (Delmar, DE) further established themselves as the top team in Delaware with a 6-3 win over rival Cape Henlopen High School (Lewes, DE). #7 Charlotte Latin School (Charlotte, NC) sits at a perfect 11-0 with one or more wins over all the top teams in the state. #9 Severna Park High School (Severna Park, MD) continues their dominance in the state of Maryland- they sit at 5-0. And #10 Notre Dame Prep School (Towson, MD) is the top dog in the Maryland private schools with wins over each of the top IAAM A squads now- Garrison Forest School, Archbishop Spalding, and McDonogh School last week.
Newcomers to this week’s poll include Broadneck High School (Annapolis, MD) who defeated then ranked #16 Glenelg 2-1 in OT last week, and C. Milton Wright High School (Bel Air, MD). The Stallions continue to sail through their schedule and sit at a perfect 8-0.
