Acton-Boxborough holds strong at the #1 spot in the Week #2 Northeast Region Top 20 Rankings. The Colonials are 5-0 and have outscored opponents 35-2 behind an impressive offensive showing by senior captain Emma Kearney (Harvard lacrosse commit), who missed all of last season with a knee injury. Andover gets the bump up to the #2 spot after securing three convincing wins last week.
Newcomers to this week’s Top 20 include King Philip Regional High School (Wrentham, MA) who jump right up to the #11 spot after starting out strong at 5-0, and Wellesley High School (Wellesley, MA) who start out at #18 after tying #3 Walpole in the first game of the season and looking strong since. Dennis-Yarmouth (South Yarmouth, MA) drop to Others Considered after falling 0-1 to Falmouth, as does Lexington (Lexington, MA) after falling 0-3 to Winchester.
