The Northeast Region consists of all public and private schools in the states of Connecticut, New York and Rhode Island.
The #1 preseason spot in the Northeast Region this Fall should come as no surprise. Sharon Sarsen’s Lakeland High School Hornets will look to claim a 9th straight New York state title in 2017. The pipeline of talent and rich tradition of the program continue and should see the Hornets back at the top with the senior leadership of Caroline Cahill (James Madison commit) and Kelsey McCrudden (UAlbany commit).

Historic dominance and success at the highest level and in the postseason are a major factor. MAX Field Hockey’s general ranking philosophy: you must prove it on the field and beat the best and ranked teams to move onto and up the rankings!
