The West/Mid-West Region consists of all public and private schools in the states of California, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio, Oklahoma, Texas, and Wisconsin.
Serra returns as the top team in the West/Mid-West Region heading into the 2017 season. The Conquistadors may be without West/Mid-West Region Player of the Year Megan Rodgers (now the leading scorer at Cal with 7 goals in 6 games!), but they return a lot of talent, including a Top 10 player in senior Kathryn Peterson (Michigan commit).

MAX Field Hockey’s general ranking philosophy: you must prove it on the field and beat the best and ranked teams to move onto and up the rankings!
