Week #3 Rankings – PA/NJ Region

This week’s Top 7 in the PA/NJ Region remain unchanged, but after that we have a ton of movement, including three newcomers to this week’s poll!

Some of the Week #3 highlights:

• Donegal got a good fight from Wyoming Valley West that ended in a 3-2 win in overtime for the Indians
• Penn Manor got two nice ranked wins- 2-1 over Hershey and 1-0 over Lower Dauphin
• Villa Maria Academy knocked off rivals Merion-Mercy Academy convincingly, 7-0
• Wilson West Lawn got two ranked wins- a 2-1 win in OT at Twin Valley followed by a convincing 6-1 win over Exeter
• Newcomer Madison High School (Madison, NJ) enters at #17 after beating a tough Warren Hills team 1-0 last week and capturing Head Coach Ann Marie Davies her 600th career victory
• Methacton High School (Eagleville, PA) enters at #18 after sailing along through their schedule.  The Warriors are now a perfect 10-0 led by the scoring duo of Olivia Hoover and Emily Owens
• Bridgewater-Raritan High School (Bridgewater, NJ) got a huge win on the road over then ranked #9 Rumson-Fair Haven 2-1 in OT
• Hershey High School (Hershey, PA) drops out of the top 20, but we are not taking our eye off them.  Sitting at 5-3 with ranked losses to Penn Manor, Lower Dauphin and Wilson West Lawn, the Trojans also have ranked wins over Palmyra Area and Twin Valley.
