Team USA U21 Head Women’s Coach Janneke Schopman has named all but four roster spots for the upcoming Women’s Hockey Junior World Cup, which will be held in Santiago, Chile from November 24-December 4. These spots were named following the summer’s Young Women’s National Championship, in which the squad competed together and won gold, and two training camps in July. The four remaining roster spots will be named following a September training camp.
Three current High School players are in the mix. Unionville junior Erin Matson and Agnes Irwin senior Julianna Tornetta have already been named to the squad and Penn Manor senior Brooke Deberdine has a chance of securing one of the remaining four spots.
