The NCAA, the governing body for collegiate field hockey programs, recently released the 2016-17 Guide for the College-Bound Student-Athlete.  This guide provides important information related to eligibility, including what High School coursework you need to take and what academic standards (GPA, Test Scores) need to be met in order for you to be eligible to compete at the Division I and II levels.  NCAA eligibility at the Division III level is based on the individual schools academic and admissions standards- there are no specific NCAA guidelines that need to be followed at that level.

This guide is a great starting place if you are learning about the process.  NCAA eligibility is something you want to learn about early to make sure you are on the right path in your High School academics!
