After an exciting week of Division I hockey, we see a new #1 at the top of the Penn Monto/NFHCA Coaches Poll.  Connecticut edged out North Carolina by just 1 vote to secure the top spot this week.  The top 4 teams were incredibly close, all receiving over 800 votes a piece, with North Carolina receiving the most #1 votes with 18.  Former #1 Syracuse bumped down to the #4 spot after falling to North Carolina in Chapel Hill 3-2 in double overtime on Friday.  The biggest mover of the week is Northwestern, up 5 spots to the #6 ranking after defeating top 10 teams Penn State and Maryland over the weekend.  [Click here to view a recap of the weekend’s Top 20 match-ups]
